Lucky Blocks are special collectible items in Escape Tsunami for Brainrots that guarantee you a brainrot when opened. They’re basically loot boxes – pick them up, bring them to your base, and spin for a random brainrot of that rarity.
Here’s everything you need to know about Lucky Blocks, from where to find them to how to maximize your rewards.
How Lucky Blocks Work
Lucky Blocks are pretty simple once you understand the flow:
- Find a Lucky Block spawning in its designated zone
- Pick it up like you would any brainrot
- Return to your base (don’t die!)
- Hold E to open it and trigger a roulette spin
- Receive a random brainrot matching the block’s rarity
Important: The brainrot you get matches the Lucky Block’s rarity. A Celestial Lucky Block = a random Celestial brainrot. No exceptions.

Lucky Block Mutations
Some Lucky Blocks come with mutations that add special effects or boosted values:
| Mutation | Found On | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Emerald | Most blocks | Green glow, slightly higher value |
| UFO | Rare, Secret blocks | UFO effect, boosts during UFO weather |
| Blood | Epic blocks | Red effect, rare variant |
UFO mutations are more common during UFO weather events – check the weather timer!
Where Lucky Blocks Spawn
Each Lucky Block type spawns in its matching zone:
| Zone | Lucky Block Rarity | Speed Required |
|---|---|---|
| Common Area | Common | 0+ |
| Uncommon Area | Uncommon | 20+ |
| Rare Area | Rare | 40+ |
| Epic Area | Epic | 50+ |
| Legendary Area | Legendary | 60+ |
| Mythical Area | Mythical | 80+ |
| Cosmic Area | Cosmic | 100+ |
| Secret Area | Secret | 140+ |
| Celestial Area | Celestial, Divine | 150+ |
Divine Lucky Blocks are the rarest – they only spawn in the Celestial area and look like glowing blue orbs. Super rare outside of events.
Event Spawns (Best Farming)
Lucky Blocks spawn more frequently during specific events:
Wacky Waves Event
- Celestial blocks spawn every ~5 minutes
- Divine blocks spawn occasionally
- Tsunamis are slower = easier to grab and survive
- Best event for Celestial/Divine farming
Admin Abuse Event
- 10x Divine spawn rate
- Chaos everywhere, but worth it
- Check Event Schedule for times
UFO Weather
- UFO mutation blocks more common
- Look for the weather timer in-game
Radioactive Event
- Radioactive Lucky Blocks spawn in event area
- Complete the obby or use Radioactive Spin (0.1% chance)
Lucky Block Farming Tips
Here’s how to actually farm Lucky Blocks efficiently:
1. Prioritize Wacky Waves
This is the #1 event for Lucky Block farming. The waves move slowly, giving you tons of time to grab blocks and return safely. Celestial and Divine blocks respawn every 5 minutes during this event.
2. Watch the Weather Timer
Different weather = different mutation spawns. If you want UFO mutations, wait for UFO weather before farming.
3. Speed Is Key
You need 150+ speed to access Celestial Lucky Blocks. Don’t bother trying to farm high-tier blocks if you can’t reach the zone safely.
4. Don’t Die With Blocks
Sounds obvious, but it happens all the time. If you have a Celestial block in your inventory and a tsunami catches you… gone. Play it safe.
5. Server Hop for Events
If an Admin Abuse or Wacky Waves event just ended in your server, hop to another one. Events don’t sync across servers.
6. Learn Safe Spots
There are trenches and gorges in every zone. Know where they are so you can duck in when tsunamis come while holding valuable blocks.
Radioactive Lucky Block Strategy
The Radioactive Lucky Block deserves its own section because getting it is tricky:
How to Get It
- Join during a Radioactive Event (every hour at :00)
- Go to the Radioactive event area
- Complete the obby (timed parkour challenge)
- Or use the Radioactive Spin (0.1% chance – not recommended)
Pro Tip: Use Slow Mode
If the obby is too hard, enable slow mode in settings. It makes the parkour much more manageable. Speed is actually a disadvantage here.
Lucky Blocks vs Regular Brainrots
Should you focus on Lucky Blocks or just collect regular brainrots? Here’s the comparison:
| Method | Pros | Cons |
|---|---|---|
| Regular Brainrots | Constant spawns, predictable | Lower average value |
| Lucky Blocks | Guaranteed rarity match, fun RNG | Rarer spawns, need to return to base |
Verdict: Farm both! Grab regular brainrots on your way to/from Lucky Blocks. Don’t tunnel vision on just one method.
